Yeah, so... looks like my xanga went into hibernation for awhile. Time for an entry, whatever it may be.

So things have been going pretty well... school is hard as always, it's getting closer and closer to MCAT TIME which means I need to start studying like I've never studied before. It won't be too bad, I just need to get through it and get more comfortable with all of the material. The big day is April 22nd... April is going to be a fun month. Other than that, I am now social chair for the fraternity (along with one other person), so for the next year I am hopefully going to be putting together some really fun events for everyone. Speaking of the fraternity, for those of you who know that we lost exclusive use of our house last year, we just recently found out that we regained exclusive use for the 06-07 school year. I'm planning on living there next year and it should be great.

Drum corps is kicking into high gear... Tomorrow I leave for a camp weekend, which includes dress rehearsals and two concerts with the Toledo Symphony. Basically the brass and some of the percussion are playing with the symphony for the last few minutes of the 1812 Overture. It's going to be loud. So yeah, driving up there tomorrow and we'll see what happens.

This week was spring break... which was a chance for me to take some time for myself and relax at home. I hate the fact that I'm never home anymore. I think about even more when I'm actually here. Anyway, it's been fun, but as always it's been way too short. What can ya do. Monday is the beginning of another quarter... and it's going to be a crazy one. Hopefully I'll get back to updating this more often... Take care everyone and have a great weekend.

Wow... it's been awhile. Well, here's the best I can do right now as far as an update is concerned.

Thanksgiving was fun, nice to be home, and a Glassmen camp that weekend! Got to see some of my favorite people in the world. So yeah... another season is underway. This one is my age-out. Which is kind of weird, obviously, because it's been a huge part of my life for a few years now. But it's definitely, without a doubt, time for me to get on with my life. I've been chasing this crazy dream of mine long enough. Another camp this coming weekend, so I'm pretty excited. Can't wait to see what Chad writes for the music we heard last camp... it's going to be sweet.

So after thanksgiving weekend, we had reading week, which basically involves no class and lots of studying for finals. About halfway through that week I realized how screwed I was, and started writing papers almost non-stop for about five days. It... kind of sucked. A lot. After that I was pretty burned out, my sleep schedule was all messed up, and I was basically a wreck for the rest of finals week. I had no motivation or desire to do anything. So yeah... my grades could have been a little better. Which really pisses me off. And the reason it pisses me off is because it is completely my fault. I'm sick of not working hard enough and then being frustrated with the results. I need to FIGURE IT OUT and find some kind of intrinsic motivation to work hard again. Ugh... it hurts my head just thinking about it. Thankfully sitting at home all day doing nothing has helped me clear my mind a little bit.

Anyway, I'm going to try not to think about it until I get back to school. In the meantime, I'm trying to practice as much as I can and (starting tomorrow) do some serious MCAT studying. I've also decided to watch a lot of movies over break. Basically I've realized that I really haven't seen very many movies... and I want to start working through some good ones while I have the time. Tonight I watched Shawshank Redemption. It was pretty sweet. I think next on the list is Batman Returns, then the Godfather. But I am open to suggestions (as long as they come with eprops).

Too tired to write anymore. Time for bed...

G'night, and good luck to all of you still fighting with finals and crap like that.

Lesson of the weekend: Everyone just needs to chill the fuck OUT! Seriously.

Um... yeah notice how it's almost 3 am and instead of studying social psych I am writing a pointless entry on xanga. Good stuff.

Ok, I should get back to work... I really need to do well on this exam.

One more thing before I forget. I waited in line for almost three hours to see Harry Potter open last Thursday night. I'm not that hard corps about it, it just sort of happened that someone had an extra ticket and we wanted to make sure we got good seats. Anyway, the movie was AWESOME. Not perfect, but by far the best of the four.

Go see it.

Yay for thanksgiving coming so soon!

It's PICTURE TIME!

Amanda and me after Finals! (seat partners from '03!)

Meaghan and me, with Andy looking crazy in the background. Side two bitches.

The old guys.

Christine and me, after FINALS REGIONAL!!!!!!!!!

Pit after retreat.

Percussion '05.

Ok, this is a picture of Chad and me. He's basically my hero, and the coolest man alive.

That's it for now... Yeah, I just got these ones developed.

Enjoy. More later, perhaps?
